The Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures offers both matriculated OSU students as well as non-students the opportunity to earn 2 semesters' worth of Arabic during a single 7-week summer term with its Intensive Summer Arabic Language Institute.

The Institute allows students either to enroll in an elementary track (Arabic 1101.01 and 1102.01) or intermediate track (1103.01 and 2014) with classes meeting Monday through Friday 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00, June 10 through July 26 (except holidays).
