We are thrilled to announce that our Zari Mahmoudi just recently passed her candidacy exams, under the advisement of Professors Sean Anthony, Johanna Sellman, Michael Swartz, and Hugh Urban, and is now officially a candidate for her PhD to start working towards her dissertation. Her areas of interest are in Arabic and Persian Literature, of which she has published and edited a new edition of "Qurrat al Ayn, book of proverbs", a 13th century Persian manuscript.
