Join the Middle East Studies librarian for a discussion of a range of strategies for searching and staying current with news from the Middle East, including:
- using library newspaper databases such as Factiva and Access World News Research Collection to browse newspapers and search for articles from the Middle East
- setting up RSS feeds for news sources such as blogs, newspapers, and websites
- creating alerts for specific topics in the news
- searching Twitter for trending topics in specific areas of the Middle East.
Plus, tips for advanced internet searches in Arabic, Persian, and Turkish
