His first book, Archaeology of Empire in Achaemenid Egypt, was published in 2020. He has held fellowships at the Harvard Art Museums, the Getty Research Institute, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Bard Graduate Center, and is currently an adjunct faculty member of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, Hofstra University, the Bard Prison Initiative and Baruch College of the City University of New York; his also a research associate of the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology at the University of Michigan.
