Please join us for a conversation with Tamer El Said at the Wexner Center for the Arts Theatre on Tuesday, 9/18 from 12:45-2 pm.
El Said is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, producer and director from Cairo, Egypt. His previous works include Take Me (2004) and On a Monday (2005). An advocate of independent cinema, he is co-founder of several cinematic initiatives in Cairo, including Cimatheque Alternative Film Centre, Mosireen, and Zero Production.
This open conversation takes place on the day following the 7 pm screening on 9/17 of El Said's feature film In the Last Days of the City at the Wexner Center for the Arts.
