Central Asian Manuscript Culture from the Timurids to the Soviet Era
Dr. Erkinov is a specialist in Central Asian historical literature and professor at the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is currently a research fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where he is working on the MET’s collection of Timurid manuscripts. He plans to discuss that work, as well as his additional ongoing research in related themes.
