The Middle East Studies Center asks you to join us for a workshop on Arabic calligraphy where you will receive all the necessary material to learn this fascinating technique. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Muhammad Habib, a preceptor of Arabic at Harvard University. Dr. Habib studied the art of calligraphy at the Calligraphy Institute of Cairo and has conducted similar workshops at universities across the United States.This interactive workshop has limited seating available! Please register to secure your seat. If you are interested in listening to Dr. Habib's lecture only, you can register to attend online. It is free and open to the public. Dr. Muhammad Habib will be our honored guest at dinner after the workshop.
