International Student Concerns committee at the Council of Graduate Students has organized a film series on "Love and Sexuality in the Middle East". In the context of this film series, the following themes are explored with one film in each category:

                Caramel (February 21/ Thursday, 5:30 to 8)

3. Transnational Sexuality Predicaments
                The Salesman (March 7/ Thursday, 5:30 to 8)

4. Love, Religion and Politics
                Ajami (April 4/ Thursday, 5:30 to 8)

All films are introduced by Ehsan Estiri who teaches "Films of the Middle East" and "The Middle East in the Media" at the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures.
